ISO-20 Adam is a 52 year old gay Aussie guy who returned to art after a 20+ year hiatus in 2019. ISO-20 Adam is a pseudonym that has a two-part meaning that relates to the increased isolation that many same-sex attracted guys will experience during the COVID-19 pandemic. ‘ISO-20’ is short for Isolation 2020. And ‘Adam’ is used simply because no other male name felt more isolated than that of the Bible’s ‘first man’.
ISO-20 Adam sketches are a celebration of male same-sex attraction as a simple pleasure. They also serve as a reminder that there are countless guys in this world who aren’t able to experience it as such. They challenge the viewer to enjoy the beauty of the male form.
Each ISO-20 Adam sketch is drawn in the artist’s spare time and can take up to 30 hours to complete, with 12 hours being the norm. Typically, pencils, pens, paint-markers, A3 sketch paper and male ‘selfies’ are used - with the model’s permission.
ISO-20 Adam has been sharing his erotic art on social media and other platforms since March 2020:
